PURPOSE: To provide a wave-activated power generator which can convert and store wave power directly to electric energy without using a moving unit for converting to mechanical energy, a normal generator with high efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A wave-activated power generator comprises a DC power source of a discharge circuit of an electrode unit 11 so installed as to oppose electrode plates for forming a capacitor under the water as a plurality (N) of storage batteries 45 connected to the first DC power source 31 of the charge circuit of a capacitor (electrode unit 11) and diodes Da, Db, and storage batteries 31 is connected as the DC power source of the discharge circuit. Accordingly, the discharge circuit is formed of the storage batteries, and hence electric energy supplied infinitively can be stored, and the terminal voltage of the battery is raised, thereby to generate with high conversion efficiency.
