Abstract:
To provide a wave dissipating block in which blocks are connected in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction and integrated by fitting by means of engagement and insertion to construct a rigid wave dissipating structure, in order to secure an efficient wave dissipating, secure stability even to waves greater than expected, secure wave dissipating function and a landscape of a wave dissipating structure for a long term, and to reduce total cost of construction and maintenance and management.SOLUTION: A wave dissipating block is at least constituted of: a block body 1 at least formed of a pair of quadrangular front and rear walls 11 provided with an opening 11a in the center, a pair of quadrangular right and left walls 12, and a flow splitter 13 provided between the right and left walls 12; engaging members 3 provided on surfaces of the front and rear walls 11 and connecting with another block body 1 in a horizontal direction; and connecting members 4 provided at an upper part and a lower part of the right and left walls 12 and connecting with another block body 1 in a vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
