Title:
WAVE DISSIPATING DEVICE HAVING FLOATING ALGAE COLLECTING FUNCTION AND FLOATING DUST COLLECTING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3918154
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively collect and submerge and wither floating algae such as water bloom for waste disposal by generating a circulation flow on surface water around many wave dissipating devices existed or newly installed on the water surface for racing in a speedboat race course so that the floating algae gathered around it stick to a floating collecting tank.
SOLUTION: Rope or a mat is arranged halfway between a quay and the wave dissipating devices or halfway between a quay-side and a course-side wave dissipating bodies of the wave dissipating devices. Generation of the floating algae such as the water bloom is inhibited by forming a surface current around the wave dissipating devices. The floating algae such as the water bloom are stuck to the mat or the rope, and compressed and crushed with a water stream generator. The surface current is also generated in floating dust for circulating in order to effectively collect it.
