PURPOSE: To effectively eliminate waves is keeping the permeable function of water alive by a method wherein multi pieces of horizontally disposed piles are disposed and wave eliminating materials are fitted between the disposed piles with sliding position.

CONSTITUTION: For the first row of the horizontally disposed piles 1a 1b... a wave eliminating material 2 is placed between the pile 1b and the pile 1c and between piles 1d and 1e, respectively. For the second row of the horizontally disposed piles 1a, 1b..., the material 2 is placed between piles 1a and 1b, between piles 1c, and 1d, and between the piles 1e and 1f. For the third row of the horizontal disposed piles 1a, 1b..., the material 2 is placed between the piles 1b, and 1c and between the piles 1d and 1e. These materials are placed in zigzag in the proceeding direction of waves. Waves sequentially hit the materials placed in zigzag to disappear, however, water penetrates through the space of piles 3 where the material 2 is not placed. As a result, obstruction does not occur for the exchange of water and spending can be expected in the same degree of a wave eliminating wall in which waves are completely intercepted.
