Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover oil without leaking it in a rear part even in waves by a method in which an outrigger, an oil fence, and a recovery device main body synchronize with waves in their independent movements so that oil is collected to a belt conveyer installed in the main body in the middle part along the oil fence. SOLUTION: When oil is drifting on a wavy sea surface, an outrigger 1, an oil fence 2, and a recovery device main body 3 are connected by upper and lower freely rotatable connection jigs 7. The three move independently to synchronize with waves and collects the oil to the middle part along the upper and lower oil fences 2 with oil leakage preventing structure without leaking oil in a rear part. The oil is recovered by a belt conveyer 4 which is rotated by a belt conveyer driving motor 8 attached to the main body 3. Additionally, the oil on the sea surface is affected by tides and wind to drift. To recover the drifting oil, self-traveling is done to the position of the oil to recover it.
