Abstract:
To provide a wave-force reduction device capable of preventing a protruded cargo from a hull from being damaged and of improving stabilization of the hull.SOLUTION: The wave-force reduction device provided for a protrusion part 20 protruded on the water comprises a support shaft 55 arranged below the protrusion part 20, a pair of plate-like members 41 and 42 rotatably connected to the support shaft 55 so as to cover the protrusion part 20 from below, and support members 31 and 32 to support the plate-like members 41 and 42. In the wave-force reduction device 30, the pair of plate-like members 41 and 42 are movably provided between the standby position where the pair of plate-like members 41 and 42 have a specified opening angle and the retreating position where they have a bigger opening angle than the angle at the standby position, and they have an elastic member 60 exerting energizing force toward the standby position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
