Abstract:
To provide a wave gear speed reducer that improves gear accuracy in gear-cutting processing, and to provide a method for manufacturing a wave gear speed reducer.SOLUTION: A flexible external gear 36 has a connection part 365 that is formed into a circular arc-shape between a shank part 361 and a bottom part 362. A radius R2 of a second circular arc 365b is larger than a radius R1 of a first circular arc 365a, where the first circular arc 365a is a circular arc-shape at an outer peripheral surface of the connection part 365 and the second circular arc 365b is a circular arc-shape at an inner peripheral surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
