Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave-making device capable of suppressing the generation of reflection waves and improving wave-making accuracy.SOLUTION: A wave-making device comprises: a water tank 2 in which a water channel 21 is formed; water flow generation means generating a water flow toward a longitudinal direction of the water channel 21 and generating waves; and a model 4 disposed downstream of the water path 21 and simulating a land form, and further comprises a recovery portion 5 capable of dropping the waves striding over the model 4 downstream without damming the waves. Furthermore, the recovery portion 5 includes a termination plate 51 sealing a back surface of the model 4.
