Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of a ball bearing by enhancing the load rating thereof.SOLUTION: A ball bearing 32 includes an outer ring 33 and an inner ring 34 circular in a natural state but elastically deformable to be non-circular, and a plurality of balls 35 provided between the outer ring 33 and the inner ring 34. The inner ring 34 and the outer ring 33 have shoulder parts 34a, 33a formed on both axial sides of raceway grooves 38, 39 where the balls 35 roll, with their heights being the same over the whole peripheries, respectively. The filling rate of the balls 35, defined as follows, is 26% or lower: the filling rate of the balls 35=a gap size between the balls 35, 35/a diameter D of the ball 35×100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
