To provide a wave power generator formed by supporting a base end part of a floating plate in a base bottom plate laid in an inclined surface of a shore so that a free end side of the floating plate rocks and reciprocates between a horizontal position and a vertical position, and having both of a function for generating power by transmitting the rocking and reciprocating force of the floating plate, which rocks between the horizontal position and the vertical position by wave power of the remarkably shallow sea wave going and returning to/from the inclined surface of the shore and buoyancy applied to the floating plate, to a generator through a transmitting mechanism and a wave dissipating function for reducing the excessive wave amount and the wave pressure by receiving the remarkably shallow sea wave in the vertical position of the floating plate.

This wave power generator includes a support base standing on the base bottom plate laid along the inclined surface of the shore to support the base end of the floating plate so that a free end side of the floating plate rocks and reciprocates between the horizontal position and the vertical position, and has both of the function for generating power by transmitting the rocking and reciprocating force of the floating plate rocking and reciprocating between the horizontal position and the vertical position by the wave power of the remarkably shallow sea wave going and returning to/from the inclined surface of the shore and buoyancy applied to the floating plate to a generator through a link transmitting mechanism and the wave dissipating function for reducing the excessive wave amount and the wave pressure by receiving the remarkably shallow sea wave in the vertical position of the floating plate.
