Abstract:
PURPOSE: To display a waveform data over the entire screen by providing a scaling screen for setting the maximum and minimum values of an input signal to the physical unit inherent to an object to be measured, and a variable screen for freely setting the full-scale value of screen with that unit thereby converting the input signal into the physical unit.
CONSTITUTION: The waveform recorder comprises an input section 10 including an A/D converter, a memory section 11 for storing an input waveform data, a screen section 12 for displaying an input waveform based on the input waveform data, an operating section 13, and a CPU 14 for controlling respective sections. the operating section 13 calls a scaling screen on the screen section 12 and maximum and minimum values thereof in V unit are set as maximum and minimum values in kg unit, for example. The CPU 14 then converts a measurement in V unit into a value of kg unit. Subsequently, a variable screen is called and a full-scale values of waveform display screen, i.e., the maximum and minimum values in kg unit, are set. When a waveform display screen is returned, the input waveform is displayed fully on the screen having ordinate of kg unit.
