Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform reproducing device in which waveform reproducing is smoothly conducted even though a disk device whose access time is relatively slow is provided.
SOLUTION: When the transfer to a waveform memory 18 of the waveform data that represent the front and the back half portions of music waveforms stored in a hard disk 17 is not in time, music waveforms based on the waveform data within a prescribed segment among the waveform data corresponding to the front half portion stored in the memory 18 are repeatedly reproduced until the waveform reproducing of the back half portion is made possible based on the waveform data representing the front half portion stored in the memory 18.
