Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide circulator having two operation rotation directions even without changing a direction of a magnetic field to be applied.SOLUTION: The waveguide circulator includes: a waveguide which is substantially Y-shaped from rectangular waveguides extending in different three directions in parallel with an electric field surface of an electromagnetic wave incident from a branch part; two protrusions formed oppositely to an inner peripheral surface of the branch part of the waveguide along a magnetic field surface of the incident electromagnetic wave; and two ferrites which are disposed along the magnetic field surface and disposed in the two protrusions in parallel with each other and oppositely to each other. The two protrusions are formed from the branch part to the rectangular waveguides and are formed over all the rectangular waveguides in a short-side direction.
