Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide capable of transmitting an electromagnetic wave of a terahertz band without lowering transmission efficiency and being easily manufactured, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A coating layer 14 is formed on one face of an insulation layer 11 formed by resin via a conductor pattern 12. A coating layer 24 formed into a recessed shape is joined to the coating layer 14. A hollow waveguide 1 is formed in a portion surrounded by the surface of the coating layer 14 and the inner face of the recessed shaped coating layer 24. An electromagnetic wave of a terahertz band is transmitted through the waveguide 1.
