Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a waveguide short-circuiting device and a coaxial waveguide converter with which such substances as the earth and sand, the liquids, etc., can pass in a waveguide.
CONSTITUTION: In a waveguide short-circuiting device 3, the wide faces of plate-shaped conductors 2a-2c are set approximately parallel to the axis of a waveguide 1 and each end part of conductors 2a-2c is connected to the inner wall surface of the waveguide 1 or another plate-shaped conductor at a position 2e or 2d. Meanwhile an exciting conductor 6 is connected to a center conductor 4a of a coaxial connector 5 and also extended approximately to the cross section of the waveguide 1.
