Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion member having a wavelength conversion layer such as a quantum dot layer which can prevent lowering of a light-emission efficiency of quantum dots by infiltration of oxygen from an end face, and has few defects and excellent handleability.SOLUTION: A wavelength conversion member has: a wavelength conversion layer; a gas barrier layer laminated on at least one main surface of the wavelength conversion layer; a resin end face sealing layer covering at least a part of the end of a laminate formed by laminating the wavelength conversion layer and the gas barrier layer; and a covering material covering the end face sealing layer from the main surface of the gas barrier layer to the end face sealing layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
