Abstract:
To provide a wavelength conversion member which has high durability and outgoing light intensity so that reduction in light emission intensity, and melting or deterioration of a constituent material can be suppressed, even when the wavelength conversion member is irradiated with light from an LED or an LD.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a wavelength conversion member in which an inorganic phosphor is dispersed in a glass matrix. The wavelength conversion member includes Si of 58 to 64 wt.% in terms SiO, B of 9 to 18 wt.% in terms of BO, Al of 10 to 20 wt.% in terms of AlO, and Zn+Mg of 0.1 to 0.6 wt.% in terms of oxide.SELECTED DRAWING: None
