Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion device that emits homogeneous light with suppressed color irregularity and deviation of an intensity distribution, suppresses return light in which incident light returns to an incident side, has a little loss of the incident light, and has high efficiency; and a light source device.SOLUTION: There is provided a wavelength conversion device 20 comprising: an optical element 23 that condenses incident light or uniforms an intensity distribution of the incident light; a reflection member 25 on which emission light from the optical element 23 is made incident and includes a multilayer reflection film 27; and a wavelength conversion element 24 that is formed of a wavelength conversion member 26 on which transmitted light transmitted through the multilayer reflection film 27 is made incident, wherein the multilayer reflection film 27 has a high reflectance to light having a longer wavelength than that of the emission light compared with the reflectance to the emission light from the optical element 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
