To provide a light detection apparatus capable of detecting incident light having a prescribed wavelength with high quantum efficiency and efficiently guiding light to a sensitive region of a photodetector by suppressing a loss of light even in the photodetector having the small sensitive region compared with its physical surface area, to provide a wavelength converting raw material and a filter for collecting light whose wavelength is converted, which are easily manufactured and by which stability and durability of the light detection apparatus can be further enhanced and to provide manufacturing methods thereof.
The wavelength converting raw material consists of a prescribed wavelength conversion material and a prescribed host polymer holding the wavelength conversion material, absorbs light having a first prescribed wavelength or below, converts the wavelength of the absorbed light into a second prescribed wavelength longer than the first prescribed wavelength or longer and emits the light.
