Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength equalizer which is capable of applying high- frequency highlighting to a read signal without increasing inter-symbol interference even if the shortest run length of this read signal is below twice the clock period of a channel clock signal.
SOLUTION: The results of the addition of the signal level obtained by weighting and adding the signal levels to each other at the respective points of the first point of the time and the second point of the time in the amplitude limitation read signal formed by amplitude limitation of the read signal and the signal level at the intermediate point of the time of the first point of the time and second point of the time in the read signal are outputted as an equalization correction read signal.
