Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength monitoring device for optical wavelength multiplex communication and an optical wavelength multiplex communication device that make it possible to use a light receiving element which is inexpensive and easy to increase pixels.SOLUTION: A wavelength monitoring device for optical wavelength multiplex communication DA of the invention comprises: a filter 1 about which transmission wavelength is different depending on an incident position along a prescribed one direction in order to disperse the light of an optical wavelength multiplex communication signal into respective optical signals of respective channels; a light receiving unit 3 for receiving the respective optical signals of the respective channels dispersed by the filter 1; and a wavelength conversion unit 2a that is provided on an optical path from the filter 1 to the light receiving unit 3, and converts the wavelength band of the optical wavelength multiplex communication signal into a wavelength band of visible light.
