To provide a wavelength multiplex access system in which wavelengths of an entire system can be managed only with the wavelength control of one laser light source in spite of the wavelength multiplex access system, and a master station and slave stations are simplified and improved in maintainability at low cost.
In the wavelength multiplex access system composed of a master station 1, a plurality of slave stations 2 and an optical transmission line 3 connecting them, an optical frequency COM generator 4, a first wavelength filter 5a, a 4-port circulator 7 and a second wavelength filter 5b are connected in order in the master station 1, an optical modulator 6 is connected to a first intermediate terminal of the 4-port circulator 7, and a photo-diode 8 is connected to a second intermediate terminal of the 4-port circulator 7. Each of the slave stations 2 is then composed of a third wavelength filter 5c and a semiconductor optical amplifier transceiver 9.
