Abstract:
To provide a wavelength selection element comprising two substrates that are reliably aligned and fixed to each other with a predetermined distance therebetween, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A wavelength selection element comprises a pair of light-transmissive substrates 11 having principal surfaces that face each other with a gap therebetween; a pair of reflective films 12 formed on the opposing principal surfaces to face each other with an optical distance therebetween; a bonding section 13 designed to bond the pair of substrates together and made of a curable adhesive having a cured hardness that is less than that of the pair of substrates; and a contact section 14 at which the pair of substrates come into direct contact with each other to define the gap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
