Abstract:
To provide a wavelength selection filter which is resistant to heat (approximately 500°C), transmits light with wavelengths of 500 nm to 2500 nm, and can reflect light with wavelengths of 2700 nm or more.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a wavelength selection filter having a laminate structure of a high refractive-index film and an intermediate refractive-index film on a transparent substrate, the high refractive index film having an index of refraction of 3.5 to 5.5, both inclusive, and the intermediate refractive index film having an index of refraction of more than 1.5 and lower than 3.5 when the wavelength is in the range of 800 nm to 6000 nm. The extinction coefficient of each film when the wavelength is in the range between 800 nm to 6000 nm is 0.2 or lower, the average transmittance when the wavelength is in the range between 800 nm to 2500 nm is 65% or higher, and the average reflectance when the wavelength is in the range between 2700 nm to 6000 nm is 75% or higher. The wavelength selection filter also has a heat resistance to at least a temperature of 500°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
