To dynamically adjust a fiber Bragg diffraction grating(FBG) by dynamically adjusting an adjustable diffraction grating corresponding to a reflectance monitoring means so as to compensate the fluctuation of the wavelength of an optical carrier for the rated wavelength.
A second optical fiber 26 is extended from a circulator 22 to an output point 29. The FBGs 30-40 are capable of adjusting the wavelength and the FBG capable of adjusting the wavelength changes the reflection characteristics of the FBG so as to make the FBG reflect the optical carrier over a fixed wavelength range. Also, an optical spectrum analyzer(OSA) 50 can be basic OSA provided with minimum correction ability capable of monitoring the various transmission characteristics of optical signals. Then, a diffracting grating adjustment means 44 dynamically adjusts the adjustable diffraction grating corresponding to the OSA 50 which is the reflectivity monitoring means so as to compensate the fluctuation of the wavelength of the optical carrier for the rated wavelength.
