Abstract:
To provide a wax coating system and a wax coating method which can efficiently coat a liquid wax onto a sliding surface of a sliding device.SOLUTION: A wax coating system includes: a conveyance device for conveying a sliding device for sliding on snow in a first direction; a tunnel for passing the sliding device conveyed by the conveyance device; a foreign matter removal device which is arranged in the tunnel and removes a foreign matter from the sliding surface of the sliding device; a wax coating device which is arranged in the tunnel, and coats a liquid wax onto the sliding surface of the sliding device; and a wiping tool which is arranged in the tunnel, and wipes off an excessive liquid wax attached to the sliding surface of the sliding device. The conveyance device includes a support member which allows a plate part of the sliding device to be mounted thereon, and moves in the first direction. The support member supports the plate part of the sliding device so that the sliding surface of the sliding device faces upward, and a longitudinal direction of the sliding device and the first direction are parallel to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
