Abstract:

To provide a wax composition that reduces galling of a coating film due to lubrication deficiency of the coating film upon molding of an aluminum plate for molding or an aluminum alloy plate, a method for producing an aluminum-coated plate having a resin film at least on its one face, and a coating plate for molding having excellent galling resistance.

The wax composition having excellent galling resistance is produced by heating, melting, and mixing a mixture of carnauba wax and microcrystallin wax where the mixture contains 10 mass% or more and 90 mass% or less of the carnauba wax. The mixture was heated at a temperature between the melting points of both types of wax or higher and 300°C or lower. The aluminum-coated plate for molding having excellent galling resistance is produced by coating and baking at least one face of an aluminum plate or an aluminum alloy plate with a paint and then applying the wax composition onto the coated and baked plate. The coating method therefor is also provided.
