The method for producing the wax composition mainly consisting of wax and containing a polymer compound comprises mixing the wax with the polymer compound and an antioxidant in an amount of 0.1 mass% based on total mass of the wax and the polymer compound at a temperature lower than a temperature at which melting of the wax is completed in a non-oxidizing gas under the atmosphere in which a part or all of air is substituted or under reduced pressure.
