To provide an emulsion dispersion exhibiting by far excellent surface modifying ability of a substrate compared with a conventional wax emulsion dispersion or a fatty acid metal salt emulsion dispersion.
The wax-metallic soap composite emulsion dispersion contains composite particles containing (a) a hardly water-soluble wax and (b) a hardly water-soluble metallic soap. The (a/b) weight ratio is preferably 0.04-4 and the volume-average particle diameter of the composite particle is preferably 0.01-60 μm. The method for the production of the wax-metallic soap composite emulsion dispersion containing the hardly water-soluble wax (a) and the hardly water-soluble metallic soap (b) comprises a step to mix an emulsion dispersion containing the particle (a) and an aqueous emulsion dispersion containing the particle (b).
