To provide a small-sized and safe wax occlusion rim softener to be used in the production process of a denture, which is suitable for a partial softening or fusing operation and allows direct observation of a softening or fusing part.

The wax occlusion rim softener 10 comprises: (1) a base 1 composed of a heat conductive material; (2) a plurality of fin parts 2 provided on at least one surface 1A of the base, provided with a sector end part and composed of the heat conductive material; and (3) a handle part 3 connected to the base through a connection part 4.
