Abstract:
To provide a waxing iron for waxing a ski board or boards by applying a cake wax to a heated base to melt, which can prevent the wax adhering on the base from falling on a table or a floor even if the wax drooling from the rear end of the base and which allows easy removal of the wax retained in the iron body with the fingertip.
The waxing iron is provided with the base 2 heated by a heater 3 and having a rising wall 5 in the rear, a heat insulation plate 8 fixed above the base, a hanging strip 9 integrally formed to the rear part of the heat insulation plate or a handle and a fingertip accommodation part 13 formed between the hanging strip and the rising wall, and a fingertip gliding curved surface 10 is formed inside the hanging strip.
