Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a composite material excellent in wear resistance and strength at high temp.
CONSTITUTION: Titanium is supported by a three-dimensional network structure made of an intermetallic compd. such as TiNi, TiAl, TiAlNi, TiCo or TiNiCo and hard fine particles of SiC, Al2O3, etc., are uniformly dispersed in the three- dimensional network structure to obtain the objective wear resistant composite material.
