PURPOSE: A composition having improved wear resistance, obtained by dispersing a polyimide-imidazopyrrolon on resin and/or polyimidazopyrrolon resin to a main phase consisting of pilytetrafluoroethylene resin.
CONSTITUTION: (A) ≥50wt% polytetrafluoroethylene resin having mainly a repeating unit shown by the formula I is sufficiently blended with (B) ≥3wt%, preferably ≥10wt% polyimide-imidazopyrrolon resin having a repeating unit shown by the formula II and/or polyimidazopyrrolon resin (in the formula, Ar and Ar' are tetrafunctional aromatic group containing one or more 6-menbered carbon rings; R' is tetrafunctional aromatic or aliphatic group; the arrow is isomerism) having a repeating unit shown by the formula III, obtained by reacting a tetracarboxylic acid derivative with a triamine, etc. to give a polyamic acid amine, followed by subjecting it to ring closure under heating, in acetone with stirring, the solvent is removed by filtration, drying, etc., to give the aimed composition.
