Abstract:
To provide an ear periphery mounting tool that can accurately detect mastication and deglutition and imposes a less mounting load.SOLUTION: An ear periphery mounting tool comprises biological signal detection means 10 and sound detection means 20. The biological signal detection means 10 is disposed at a position at which a biological signal caused by muscular activity around an ear of at least one muscle of a temporal muscle, occipital muscle, sternocleidomastoid muscle, masseter, auricular muscle, stylohyoid muscle, and digastric muscle can be detected. The sound detection means 20 is disposed at a position at which mastication sound and deglutition sound can be detected. The ear periphery mounting tool determines a mastication section from a biological signal detected by the biological signal detection means 10 and identifies deglutition sound using a sound signal, detected in a period of time other than the determined mastication section, by the sound detection means 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
