Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a weather detecting apparatus by which weather in the running point of a vehicle is judged precisely, which can be mounted simply according to the preference of an individual and which can be made low-cost and to obtain a weather correspondence-type information provision system.
SOLUTION: The weather detecting apparatus 1 is constituted of a windshield- wiper-operation detecting means 120 which detects the movement of a windshield wiper 150 at the vehicle in a noncontact state with the windshield wiper 150. The detecting apparatus is constituted of a weather judgment means 133 which judges the weather on the basis of a signal from the windshield-wiper-operation detecting means 120. The detecting apparatus is constituted of an information- provision-signal sending-out means 132 which sends out a signal used to provide different pieces of information according to the judgment of the weather judgment means 133. The weather correspondence-type information provision system is constituted of an information provision means 2 which provides different pieces of information.
