Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce observation time and also perform accurate Doppler observation.
SOLUTION: In a weather observation system for successively performing the strength observation and Doppler observation of reception power for a weather target three-dimensionally by changing the azimuth angle and elevation of an antenna 11, strength observation is made only in the range of the low elevation of the antenna 11, and strength data within the range of the high elevation of the antenna 11 is obtained by Doppler observation.
