Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip for a vehicle which achieves excellent sealability between a door frame and a weather strip when a door is closed.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: A weather strip 10 has an attachment base part 20 and a hollow seal part 30. The hollow seal part 30 has: a hollow seal wall 31; and a vehicle outer side wall 32 and a vehicle inner side wall 33 which respectively hold the hollow seal wall 31 at a vehicle outer side and a vehicle inner side. A seal member 21 is formed on a surface of the attachment base part 20 which contacts with a vehicle body opening periphery 6. The attachment base part 20 has an attachment base part upper layer part 23 and an attachment base part lower layer part 24. At least parts of the attachment base part upper layer part 23 and the vehicle outer side wall 32 are formed so as to have higher rigidity than those of the other portions. Further, the portions of the attachment base part upper layer part 23 and the vehicle outer side wall 32, which are formed to have high rigidity, are continuously formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
