Abstract:
To provide a fitting tool which facilitates the fitting work of a weather strip, even when articles are closely arranged on an object such as a vehicle body flange, and to provide a fitting method of the weather strip.
The weather strip fitting tool includes: a base (26); a press roller (21) rotatably supported by the base, and having a press surface (211) pressing the weather strip to the object; and rotation prevention means (267, 212) preventing the press roller from rotating with respect to the base, when the force applied to the press surface is less than a predetermined value, and permitting the press roller to rotate with respect to the base, when the force applied to the press surface is the predetermined value or more.
