To provide a weather strip mounted along a peripheral edge of a storage space part of a scooter type motorcycle in which fire cannot be caught due to static electricity without requiring extra troublesome work or additional cost.

In the scooter type motorcycle provided with an oil supply port adjacent to the storage space part right below a seat, the weather strip to be mounted on a flange 12 of the peripheral edge of the storage space part is formed in a substantially annular shape having an end to face a first terminal end surface and a second terminal end surface each other. The weather strip is provided with a mounting base part 2 having a substantially U-shaped cross section to be mounted on the flange 12, formed of rubber or resin, in which a core material 3 with a U-shaped cross section is embedded, and a seal part 4 formed of rubber or resin which is integrally formed with the mounting base part 2 and elastically brought into contact with a lower part of the seat. The core material 3 is formed of resin, and one end face and the other end face are respectively exposed from the first terminal end surface and the second terminal end surface.
