PURPOSE: To provide a glass traveling groove and a weatherstrip including a decorative cover particularly having the glass traveling groove permanently fixed thereto regarding a glass traveling groove, and a belt weatherstrip for automobile.

CONSTITUTION: This weatherstrip assembly includes a U-shaped part 16 forming an attaching groove 20, and substantially integral L-shaped part 18 forming a glass panel receiving groove 30 including inner and outer legs 24 and 28 connected by a web part 48. The inner leg has a glass traveling groove including a plurality of portions shared by both of the attaching groove 20 and the glass panel receiving groove 30, a reinforcing core 36 extended inside the outer leg, a first seal lip 32 extended from the inner leg toward the outer leg, and rigid decorative cover 70 attached above the outer leg.
