To solve various problems in which operation for controlling crease (network) by speed (feed amount) in a driving part of vertical wire material feed out apparatus is troublesome operation requiring skill and weaving efficiency is not only low, but also unevenness of crease is liable to occur.
This weaving apparatus transmits rotation driving of a spindle 1 in linkage with a feed out device 2 for winding a vertical wire material 20 in rows in width direction and feeding out in length direction, shedding motion 3 for vertically moving so as to divide the vertical wiring material into vertical two portions, a lateral wire material inserting device for running horizontal wire material between vertical wire materials divided into upper and lower portions and inserting the horizontal wire material thereinto, a beating up device 4 for driving the horizontal material in winding direction and a device 5 for rolling the woven sheet. In the weaving apparatus, non-stage transmission 12 is interposed so as to directly transmit rotation driving of a spindle as rotation motion when rotation driving of the spindle 1 is transmitted to a vertical wire feed out device 2.
