Title:
WEAVING MACHINE HAVING SECTIONAL WARP BEAM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0641847
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a weaving machine capable of detecting the difference of warp tension between sectional warp beams and simply and readily controlling warp feed speed by ward feed out mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: This weaving machine has at least two sectional warp beams and at least one whip roll 23. Each sectional warp beam is equipped with an individually drivable warp let-off motion, feeler members 13a and 13b for measuring warp tension and control devices for individually controlling the speed of rotation of the sectional warp beams. The feeler members of the adjacent sectional warp beams are mounted symmetrically on a rocker-like bar 10. The rotational axis 11 of the bar 10 is parallel to the warp plane and is situated between the sectional warp beams. A sensor 14a determines the deviation of the bar alignment from a reference position and the speed of rotation of the sectional warp beams is individually controlled based on the reference position.
