To provide a weaving mechanism affording an inexpensive loom of simple structure, small in occupying space, operable in sure and efficient mode, and suitable for making three positions for warps in the loom.
This weaving mechanism, which is equipped with a series of shedding motions which in turn have mobile spindle members to be moved perpendicularly by latch members 10, 11 to be driven by reverse-phase alternate motions, is designed to make three positions for warps in the Jacquard-type loom. Specifically, these shedding motions have the four mobile spindle members 2,3,6,7 which can be moved in pairs by the latch members, respectively, each of the pairs is so designed that the 1st mobile spindle members are supported on the 2nd mobile spindle members; furthermore, the shedding motions are equipped with five pulleys 5, 9, 15, 16, 17 perpendicularly arranged in a straight line; in this case, these pulleys are mutually separable so as to be variable in the mutual intervals among the pulleys depending on the respective positions of the above four mobile spindle members.
