Title:
WEAVING OF MONOFILAMENT BY WATER-JET LOOM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02169742
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To stably weave a monofilament woven fabric using a water-jet loom by specifying the residual yarn length of weft in the flying direction of the weft.
CONSTITUTION: A monofilament having a fineness of ≤30 denier is used as a weft 1. The weft is cut with a cutter in such a manner as to protrude 2-7cm of the weft 1' from the tip end of a nozzle 2 toward the flying direction of the weft. The residual yarn length of the weft can be adjusted e.g. by adjusting the positions of the cutter and the nozzle or adjusting the length of a nozzle cap.
