PURPOSE: To obtain a Kasuri weave (cloth with splash patterns) like pile fabric capable of preventing falling of pile yarns by bridging ground yarns in pile weaving parts with bridge yarns dyed to a deeper color or a lighter color than that of base fabric ground yarns or pile yarns, weaving the yarns into a floating weave to a suitable height of the pile yarns and then carrying out the brushing processing.

CONSTITUTION: This Kasuri weavelike pile fabric is obtained by using weaving yarns capable of carrying out raising such as slub yarns or nep yarns in addition to warp yarns 1, weft yarns 2 and pile yarns 3 as bridge yarns 5 in a pile fabric. The bridge yarns 5 are dyed to a deeper color or a lighter color than the dyed concentration of the warp yarn 1, weft yarns 2 and pile yarns 3 which are ground yarns of the base fabric and the ground yarns of pile weaving parts 6 are bridged and woven in a floating weave to a suitable height of the pile yarns 3. The brushing processing is then carried out to raise the bridging yarns 5 simultaneously with the opening of the pile yarns 3 to prevent the pile yarns 3 from falling. Thereby, recovering properties from falling are enhanced to provide Kasuri weavelike effects good in visual feeling.
