Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weaving method for using a jet loom that can produce the woven fabric that have the same fabric hand and the surface shape as those of the woven fabric that is produced by inserting a plurality of the weft yarns arranged in parallel, even when a plurality of yarns are weft-inserted in the one bundle form and provide the weft yarns-inserting unit for this jet loom.
SOLUTION: In the weaving method for using a jet loom selected from air-jet loom and water-jet loom in which the weft constituted from a plurality of yarns is inserted into the opening formed between the warp separated into the upper half and the lower half, the weft is allowed to wait in the state that a plurality of yarns are arranged in parallel at the top of the individual yarns and they are bound, while they are waiting, only at the parts near the top ends, then the weft constituted from a plurality of the yarns are inserted between the warp, until the bound part may becomes the trimmed selvage motion of the woven fabric.
