PURPOSE: To enable conversion into production for a type of different banknotes by providing several pieces of plate cylinder in the respective cylinders and inking these plate cylinders by inking units fitted to freely detachable two inking unit pedestals on both sides of a printing machine.

CONSTITUTION: Two impression cylinders 2, 3 are mutually closely fitted to the main pedestal 1 of a machine. These impression cylinders 2, 3 are driven in the direction shown by curved arrows and the gears thereof are engaged directly and mutually without play and perform completely synchronized rotation in the opposite direction. Two impression cylinders 2, 3 have a seamless continuous circumferential surface consisting of rigid material desirably metal. Four pieces of blanket cylinder 4 are provided along the circumferential surface of the impression cylinder 2. The respective blanket cylinders are brought into contact with plate cylinders 5 having diameter equal thereto. Everyone of these plate cylinders 5 is inked to different color by the inking unit of itself. Three inking units 9 having a double ink reservoir belong to the upper three plate cylinders 5 and an inking unit 9' having a single ink fountain belongs to the plate cylinder 5 of the lower part.
