To provide a WEB page editing system capable of easily preparing a WEB page even without any knowledge of HTML.
When a WEB server 4 for editing the WEB page is accessed through the Internet 3 by inputting prescribed ID and password from an editor terminal 1 provided with a WEB browser, an editing screen is displayed on the editor terminal 1. On the editing image, one of layout templates stored in a layout data base 8 is selected and turned to an editing object and further one of module templates stored in a module data base 7 is selected. Then, merchandise information is retrieved, the merchandise information is led to the module template and an object is prepared. By arranging the object on the selected layout template, the WEB page is edited. The prepared WEB page is stored in a page data storage part 9 and a general user browses the WEB page from a user terminal 2 through the WEB server 5 for real performance.
