Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly versatile web transport mechanism as the web transport mechanism for each of a plurality of units in a system where the web is transported to pass through the plurality of the units.SOLUTION: A web transport apparatus comprises: a pull-in roller 202 which forms a web buffer 204 by holding in a slackened state continuous-form paper supplied into the inside of a unit; and a pass shaft 205 and an edge guide 206 for regulating a position in a vertical direction relative to the transport direction of the continuous-form paper held in the slackened state, wherein the continuous-form paper transported inside the unit is always tensioned by disabling the function of the pull-in roller 202 and the edge guide 206.
