Title:
WEBBING FOR SEAT BELT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05117934
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve designability of a webbing for seat belts without, causing deterioration in required properties and depending on light and shade of a dye.

CONSTITUTION: Warp yarns (A1) to (A6) are composed of doubled two yarns and woven with weft yarns (B1) to (B4). The weft yarn (B1) appears over the warp yarns (A1) to (A3) on the webbing surface and the weft yarn (B4) appears on the webbing surface continuous for 6 stitches over the warp yarns (A4) to (A6). The continuous exposed parts are indicated by thick frames in the figure. The continuous exposed parts of the weft yarns form a complete design within the range of the weft yarns (B1) to (B4) and the warp yarns (A1) to (A6). These become one set to form the repeated same pattern in the longitudinal direction and width direction of the webbing. Spun-dyed deep red yarns are used as the warp yarns and the yarn in a state of multifilament yarn before weaving into the webbing is dipped in a bath of a fluorine-based resin emulsion. The excess resin is then squeezed with rollers to dry and evaporate the solvent in the emulsion. Thereby, the yarns are coated with the fluororesin and subjected to resist processing.
